Maureen Sweeney
Partner

Maureen Sweeney manages client relationships, leads project teams, and provides language consulting for Tiller Language Services. Maureen also focuses on recruitment, selection, and training of our talented cadre of language services professionals. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the acclaimed Middlebury Institute of International Studies. Maureen’s career spans language, protocol, and events-related work for global organizations and worldwide programs. She has held senior-level staff positions and advisory roles for the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, and numerous Olympic Organizing Committees including Atlanta, Sydney, Salt Lake, Torino, Beijing, Vancouver, London, Sochi, and Rio de Janeiro. Maureen led the professional interpreting operation for Tokyo 2020, where her team provided remote interpreting services for the first time at an Olympic Games. In addition, Maureen has supported other high-profile international organizations including the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Expo Dubai.

Todd Dennett
Partner

Todd Dennett supports business development, as well as manages client programs for Tiller Language Services. In addition, he serves as founder and CEO of Tiller, our sister organization, providing event management and trip planning services. Todd holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington and boasts extensive experience supporting global organizations and managing programs that require the highest-caliber services. His work includes strategic planning and project management for clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, United Nations Foundation, Democratic National Committee, and several Olympic Games. Todd began his career in The White House managing events for Vice President Gore, and has since worked supporting the global needs of his clients throughout the U.S., Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Bill Weber
Strategic Advisor

Bill Weber provides strategic guidance to Tiller Language Services, and also delivers translation and interpretation services to key clients. Fluent in French, German, and English, Bill is a recognized leader in the global language-services community. He holds a Master of Arts in Conference Interpretation from the University of Geneva/Switzerland, and has served as the chief interpreter for eight Olympic Games. His significant, global client roster includes multiple G7 and G8 Summits, as well as the United Nations. Bill was the Dean of the Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation at the Monterey Institute for International Studies for 14 years, and a consultant with numerous graduate schools of Translation and Interpretation in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the U.S. Bill has trained interpreters for 50 years and is the author of The Training of Translators and Conference Interpreters.

Sarah Van Mill
Senior Project Manager

Sarah manages projects for Tiller Language Services. She brings a broad range of experience from working in the non-profit, public, and consulting sectors. Throughout her career she has routinely used language services, which left her with a keen understanding of client needs and the importance of quality language services for effective communications. She is committed to delivering clients high-quality language services that meet their strategic goals.

Sarah holds a Master of Philosophy in Justice and Transformation from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame.

Deanna Day
Project Manager

Deanna manages projects for an array of Tiller Language Services clients. Alongside her administrative and management skills, she also draws upon her professional background in economics and education to achieve client satisfaction. In addition to being fluent in Spanish, an affinity for travel and dedication to cross-cultural communication have enabled Deanna to provide premium language services for clients across the globe, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Olympic Channel Services, and TikTok.

Deanna holds a Master of Bilingual and Multicultural Education from the University of Alcalá and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University.

Necia Wiggins
Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Tiller Language Services, Necia leverages her management skills and expertise in the nonprofit, and public sectors to drive successful outcomes. She is passionate about facilitating relationships and creating clear channels of communication to encourage collaboration within her project teams. With a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah, Necia excels at strategic and financial organization, and she has a proven track record in finding creative solutions to support our wide spectrum of clients.

Andrew Napier
Project MANAGER

Andrew manages projects for Tiller Language Services. With over six years of experience consulting for the International Olympic Committee and various Olympic Organizing Committees, Andrew’s project management is motivated by a global perspective and a strong attention to detail. His experience in language services includes supporting the Junior Interpreter Program for Tokyo 2020, as well as managing language projects for Beijing 2022 and Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Arabic from Brigham Young University.
